1985 Commerce Alumni

 

The function of Reunion of 1985 Commerce Batch was conducted in B K College Chikodi on 11.12.2022.The function began with prayer songs.  Afterwards some of the students spoke about the alumni fuction and expressed their gratitude to the college and teaching staff and grief for the departed teachers/students.   The students committee felicitated the chief guest and all the professors who taught right from PUC - I to  B.Com final.  The Chief guest Mr. Mahantesh M Kavatagimath (Director of KLE Society) spoke about the KLE Society and informed the students about role played by KLE Society in upliftment of eduction in unreached areas.   He expressed gratitude to the founders of College and stressed the need of "knowledge" in ones life.  Some of professors expressed their happines for the honour done by the commerce batch and appealed to the students for contributing to the development of college.   Some of the students on the spot  contributed voluntarily.

After lunch, there was self and family  introduction by students.  The mementos were given to the students who attended the meet. Some of the entertainment programmes such as  quiz, songs, poetry, tricks… etc. were organised.   All the students were excited to meet the friends after 37 years and there was lot of changes in looks etc.  but the love and attachment remained same.  All the students expressed their happiness and thanked the Organising Committee for this Reunion for the pains taking effort etc. They also suggested to have such meet every year. The warm welcome, rangoli, decoration, sound systems, seating arrangements, food items, mementos, photo sessions .. all were excellent.    The function commenced at 10.30 am lasted till 5.15 p.m.  Everybody enjoyed the meet very much.  There were heavy showers also which indicated the function was graced by the departed ones from heaven.  Last but not least the alumini and their families whole heartedly participated in the function. Overall the function was grand success.  Once again thanks to Organising Committee...
